Sherri Gragg is a freelance writer who is passionate about using her craft to advocate for those who struggle to make their voices heard in our society.  As the white mother of a family of color, she brings a unique viewpoint to her writing on racial justice and reconciliation.  Part of her own personal journey through racial issues has led her to write a blog dedicated to the celebration of African hair at www.braidsbeadstruth.wordpress.com

Her personal blog, www.everydaymiracle.wordpress.com, is where Sherri writes about what it is like to be the mother of five children as well as her thoughts on her work, Faith, and what it means to live a life of relevancy.

Sherri has recently been privileged to begin using her craft to tell the stories of the homeless and educate her readers on the noble work being undertaken by advocates for the homeless in an effort to end homelessness in her birthplace of Nashville, Tennessee, in the next ten years.

She is currently at work on a children's picture book on the racism a little girl of color faces concerning her hair, a memoir of the adoption of two of her daughters from Haiti, and a Bible story book for middle graders which strives to capture the action, adventure, and at times, absolute scandal, that is woven throughout the lives of the great men and women of faith who walked the pages of Scripture.
